一緒にいることさえ許されない二人の葛藤や、生きる偉大さを考えさせられます。
私は映画よりも小説の方が好きでした。
映画では、回想シーンが多く混乱したところも多いでしょう。
小説ではストーリーがもっと分かりやすく書いてあるので、原作を読んでから観た方が楽しめると思います。
